Drowning is a silent killer and one of the fastest fatal accidents if not treated promptly before the victim has access to professional medical help. In Vietnam, drowning is a serious problem, especially among children, when every day 6 to 10 children under 15 years old die from drowning.

Victims survive drowning with many different outcomes, some people are lucky to recover completely and some have to live their whole life with serious injuries and sequelae from drowning such as acute respiratory failure, inflammation lungs, brain damage, plant life, etc.

The course will provide you:

  • How to bring a drowning person to shore safely for both the victim and the rescuer
  • How to give first aid to a drowning person
