Tony Coffey has more than 28 years of lifesaving and teaching experience in Sydney (Australia) and 6 years in Vietnam. He is the author of one of the most popular first aid manuals in Australia and New Zealand. Tony’s years of professional experience will give you knowledge on how to handle common accidents and health problems.

And maybe one day, you will be able to save your loved ones, friends, or people around; as well as many other SSVN students do.

According to international regulations, SSVN’s First Aid training program is updated regularly to ensure that students are always disseminated with the latest knowledge and most effective operations. At the same time, in accordance with the regulations, students are recommended to re-study the full First Aid course every year in order to review and practice proficiently. Therefore, this course is valid for 365 days from the date of payment of tuition fees.

Flood and natual disasters are major causes of deaths and injuries around the world.
The most common cause of flood-related deaths is drowning, victims usually can’t stay afloat or escape water safely or collides with submerged or floating objects. Unfortunately, in a lot of cases victims don’t get timely and correct CPR.
Common injuries are bleeding from broken glasses, metal objects, construction materials and trees. Fractures, soft tissue injuries, and limb injuries are also common. In addition, there are various threats from flows, landslides, trees, objects, overhead structures, etc. Applying first aid correctly may ease the pain and help victims recover faster.

This program is based on the latest international guidelines from the International Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) and the American Red Cross; developed and guided by paramedic (first aid specialist) Tony Coffey. Tony Coffey has more than 28 years of lifesaving and teaching experience in Sydney (Australia) and 6 years in Vietnam. He is the author of one of the most popular first aid manuals in Australia and New Zealand.

This course is part of the Survival Skills Vietnam humanitarian programs to help enhance the safety of flood-affected people and benefactors directly providing disaster relief.
