Basic First Aid is a training program that combines theoretical knowledge and direct practice based on the latest guidelines from the International Guidelines for Resuscitation (ILCOR) and the American Red Cross to help you get the latest knowledge, as well as to identify and handle situations confidently and correctly.
To take this Basic First Aid course you need to have completed the P.2 Emergency Care 1 and P.1 Basic First Aid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. Upon completion of this course you will receive a Basic First Aid certificate reflecting the latest international regulations.

The program is developed and guided by paramedics (first aid specialists). Tony Coffey. Tony Coffey has more than 28 years of lifesaving and teaching experience in Sydney (Australia) and 6 years in Vietnam. He is the author of one of the most popular first aid manuals in Australia and New Zealand. With the experience of many years of professional work, Mr. Tony will provide you the knowledge and skills to effectively handle real-life situations.
The program combines 2 modules:
Module 1 - Online: Will help you fully equip yourself with the knowledge of first aid and prepare you with background knowledge for module 2. Learning online helps you save time as you can study anywhere and at any time. Once you have completed the lessons and test, you will participate in a in person class to practice the knowledge you have learned. Knowledge is very important, but it can not replace practice. You need to complete part 2 to be able to familiarize yourself with and handle emergency situations.
Module 2 - In person practice class (offline):The practice module is a specially designed program to help learners correct first aid positions and movements until they meet the standard. Direct interaction between trainers and students not only helps you to answers your questions, but also expand your practical knowledge about first aid. Part 2 will include: a summary of Part 1, questions and answers, practice, how to handle certain situations, and tests.
After completing the 2 modules, you will have mastered the knowledge of first aid and be able to confidently perform it in real situations. Apart from a course completion certificate, you will also get material that helps you study and memorize the information such as manuals, videos, mobile apps, and more, so that you are always ready for emergency situations.
And maybe one day, you will be able to save your loved ones, friends, or even strangers, just as many other SSVN students do.
According to international regulations, SSVN's First Aid training program is updated regularly to ensure that students are always presented with the latest knowledge and most effective techniques. At the same time, in accordance with the regulations, students are recommended to re-do the full First Aid course every year in order to review and practice regularly. Therefore, this course is valid for 365 days from the date of payment.
